We all aware that our world is evolving so fast. Something that we never imagine several years ago. Pandemic has quickened the process. We must admit that organizations across the globe, included universities are facing huge uncertainty. When organization face an uncertainty leadership is playing a significant roles in leading people, team and organization.

During uncertainty, it is very important for leaders to have ability to generate new ideas dan have critical thinking. In the process for transformative, leaders need to gain trust from follower and other stakeholders. Transformational leadership focus on changes. Having the mindset to change will bring commitment to leader to achieve goals and at the same time he will try to meet the need each individual inside his organization. As a transformational leader, being adaptable and agile are the keys.

The theme for this discussion panel about Rising to the challenge: transformative leadership in times of uncertainty will focus on finding the ways and steps needed to build transformative leadership among universities leaders, not only during the uncertainty but also normal times. We hope that during our discussion today, we could find answers for the challenges that we are facing right now and how we are going the sharpen our leadership understanding and act accordingly.
