Leadership in Industry 4.0 and 5.0

Not long ago China Xinhua News made its debut by having two virtual news anchors powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The widespread use of cyber-physical systems has become the signed of the era industry 4.0. Computer technology has developed so advance where information can be stored and transferred around the world within minutes. There is utilization between computer memory and sensing capabilities where household technology can be interconnected and operated by our voice or touch. Industrial 4.0 has covered the areas of cyber-physical system and up to cognitive computing. As industry 4.0 takes shape, the business world is becoming more complex, disrupted and uncertain. In order to survive and grow, organizations and their leaders must have the ability to deliver more innovative products and services on a more frequent basis. Transformational leaders are needed to improve innovation. They must learn to embrace change and move quickly. While companies are just adopting Industry 4.0, the fifth revolution is underway and ready to intervene the process of business in Industry 4.0

Industry 5.0 is the revolution where man and machine reconcile and work together to improve efficiency of production process. It set to focus on the return of human hands and minds. Industry 5.0 will involve interaction of human intelligence and cognitive computing. The combination between human and computerized machinery is expected to bring manufacturing level to new speed and perfection. Manufacturers will find new ways to ignite creativity and innovation that will bring more benefit to the customers. Industry 5.0 also more advantageous to the environment. Companies try to develop systems that will help to eliminate waste and renew energy. Industry 5.0 values life standard, creativity and high quality custom-made products. Leader at Industry 5.0 not only need to be transformational but also has the ability about waste management system that needed by customers. The involvement of leaders of Industry 5.0 in the society will be higher. We need what we called social leadership, when the focus of the leaders is attending the need of the society. Social leadership is putting things into perspective in order to have social business. Social leader in order to achieve his/her plan towards the need of the social business will need social people to compliment the process and complete the cycle.
